What is a dynamometer? A “Dyno” (for short), is a device for measuring force, moment of force (torque), or power. For example, the power produced by an engine, motor or other rotating prime mover can be calculated by simultaneously measuring torque and rotational speed (RPM).
With its durable steel construction and high-inertia drums, our mobile Dynojet Dyno can accurately diagnose performance or drivability problems in bikes with anywhere from 20 to 2000 Hp at the drive wheels. Dyno runs can be done at speeds up to 200mph, providing safe, reliable road testing right inside the Dyno. This makes the Dynamometer ideal for both performance enthusiasts and in diagnosis of general repairs. With a quick vehicle mounting time, the Dynojet Dyno allows us to measure, record, and diagnose performance problems quickly, producing consistent, easily interpretable power graphs.
Unlike other Dynamometers which simply measure horsepower, our dynamic testing and graphing capability highlight problems in an easy-to-interpret manner. Electrical, fuel, clutch or converter slippage and drive train problems are determined quickly. All tests are stored for future comparison and analysis. Automatic measurement of the barometric pressure and ambient air temperature together with humidity measurement ensure repeatability between tests. Before and after graphic comparisons on service or repair work is proof of our quality workmanship.
